I installed the Zone Alarm firewall - had nothing but trouble with it -
couldn't access web pages and couldn't download PDF files anymore. Visiting
the Zone Labs forums revealed that tons of users were experiencing the same
problem. I followed instructions to completely uninstall Zone Alarm from my
system but I'm finding that I still can't download PDF files - all I get when
I try to download is a blank white page with a little x in the corner. Can
anyone please suggest a remedy to this problem? I'm using Acrobat Reader 6.0
and I don't have either SP1 or SP2 installed if that's any help. Cheers.

Reinstall Acrobat Reader. Then reinstall ZA as it was not the cause of your
problems.

I put both ZA and the Acrobat Reader on every single computer I build (many
computers). I have never seen an interaction between the two.
