Can anyone tell me how to create FAT builds.

Hi Katheryne,

Hmm.... Do you mean include the Fat file system? There is a component for it
in the database under Software> System > Storage & File Systems>
Infrastructure> File Systems> FAT. All the other file systems are there too,
CDFS, UDFS, NTFS, etc...

If you are trying to make a FAT partition bootable then try using
bootprep.exe located at C:\Program Files\Windows
Embedded\Utilities\bootprep.exe. You can run this against the target storage
device (Hard disk, Compact Flash, DOC, etc....) So if the target media was
the only disk in the system you would run >bootprep /dC (you will be
prompted to confirm, choose yes).

If I misunderstood let us know how else we can help.

HTH,
