Dear readers,

I am trying to add the posibillity for runtime licencing.
What I understand is that I only need to add the PID code in the Target
Designer.
But when I do this I get a blue screen: Stop 0x0000009A.

What am I doing wrong here?

Tia, Jean

Hi,

I am also facing the same problem. I have one more basic question: What ever
the key given in that sticker is only 14 digit. But in some tutorial, it was
given as 25 digit key.

Any thing worng in that.
Regards
Hussain

Hi too,

Maybe I should add what I typed in for the PID.
I have these stickers that look like:

Windows(R) XP embedded
xxxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx
zzz-zzzzz

Where the zzz part is in bold.
I was assuming that xxxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx is the PID.
So I have a 14 digit code, Hussain.
But I made a typo and type in xxxxx-xx-xxx-xxx (oops)
I have to try again, this will take a wile.

Jean.

Hi again,

Just to let you know: the typo was NOT the problem.
But it shows that you can type anything for the PID.

Please advice.

Tia, Jean.

Hi,

Actually what ever given in that
> > Windows(R) XP embedded
> > xxxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx
> > zzz-zzzzz

is the serial number. It is not the actual PID. It will be pasted on top of
ur cover with the red colour sticker. It will contain 25 digit key. That is
ur runtime licence. After putting that i did not get that (0x0000009A ) error.

Regards
Hussain
