I beleive your dad's user account should have administrative rights and
ofcours that cannot be changed ;). Only your dad has the options to customize
this so that his downloads and programs does not show up for you.

If you just want them off your desktop, or off your start menu, move them
from the desktop and/or start menu folders under

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users

to his folders ("C:\Documents and Settings\dad", or whatever).

Hope this helps!

Right.

You can also delete its reference from your C:\Documents and Settings\ User
name folder.

... or right click the program listing from Start menu | All programsand
choose Delete.

Best be careful of what you ask for, in case you are already set with a
limited account. :o) Either way, most installs ask whether the icons
should be placed within the QL, Desktop and specifically ask if for all
users. Perhaps, you need to bring this to his attention.
