it is possible that your system is over heating because it is dirty. it is
also possible that your system is infected with a virus. try booting into
safe mode and running a virus scan. if the system is over heating, try using
a can of compressed air and blowing out the sysem. do not turn the can
upside down or shack it as it will cause liquide to spray and could short
out system componets.

peace:-)

Have you tried boot in to safe mode? If you can get into safe mode
(repeatedly tap the F8 button as the pc is starting and select safe mode
from the menu) i suggest you run a virus check and a spyware check. If these
come up negative then you can attempt to restore your pc to a time prior to
your problem.

Do you mean you are getting to Windows before the reboot? If so, when you
reboot hit F5 and select the Last Known Good Configuration and this restores
you so you dont need to get to windows to do a restore.

"fyi" last know good configuration brings you to last time you booted your
system. in this case it will do nothing more than wast your time.
