I really messed up and hope that someone can help me.
I put in the windows xp disk into my computer and it installed a second copy
of it on my computer and created a brand new registry. How do i get rid of
the new copy of xp and just use my original one. (when i start up my computer
i have a choice of 2 windows xp's to chose from) Please help

Wrong NG for start. This one is for Windows XP Embedded.

But you can open from text editor file c:\boot.ini and delete entry that you don't want. Also you can delete all files from second
windows.
