I made some changes to the DOS window by clicking on the title bar. Now the
DOs window consumes the entire screen , which is too large. But the title
bar no longer is visible to reset the size.

How can I reset the dimensions of the DOS window ????

Just bring up the properties of its shortcut and adjust the dimensions
on the Layout tab.

Default is 80x25.
