If a file associated with a component happens to have the read-only property
set at the time the component is imported into the database, does this
read-only status end up that way when the file eventually is deployed on the
target?
I am usually working out of a Clearcase view, so any files that I do not
have checked out at the time appear in the directory as read-only files. In
general I think it's OK if they end up as read-only on my target system, but
I'm wondering if this is how it works and if it is possible to override (or
set) the read-only state of component files.
