task manager

my computer has been running slow on startup and some programs start on start
up causing me to wonder why it is so slow (i got a pretty fast machine brand
new)
so im wondering why and i try to open task manager to see the memory
alocation and nothing.


nothing hapens i cant get task manager to run what is going on?
"ctrl-alt-delete" nothing right click taskbar click task manager nothing i
just dont understand the only thing i can think of is i got a virus or
somthing

You're on the right track, you hvae a virus. Use the emergency tools
described here while you sort it out:
