If XPEmbedded is a member of Workgroup, then Switch to category view option
in control panel is available.
But if XPEmbedded is a member of Domain & logged as Domain Adminnistrator
or User, then Switch to category view option in control panel is missing.If
login as local user it works.
This time i found the regisrty entry key ForceClassic control panel is
automatically gets added .under HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft
\Windows
CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer, when we logged as Domain Admin/User.
This entry will not be available if logged as local user account.
When we deleted the above key, the option is available only for the
respective user.
The above perfectly woks fine in XP Professional.( It won't add the key when
logged as Domain User)
My question is why it will add the key for Domain User/Admin in XPE? How to
avoid it? Am i missing some components?
