Hi,
did anyone ever try to build and use an Acrobat Reader 7 component for
Windows XP embedded? The only software I currently have is their
original setup file AdbeRdr70_enu_full.exe that you can download from
their website and install it on your computer.
How do I convert it into an XPE component?

Hi
I did not try this since the Footprint is an issue to me. However, if you
just want to display pdf's, take a look at the free Foxit reader. It is
one(!) .exe file only with 2.3 MB. It's very easy to even build a component
of it.

I once tried to make a Acrobat component, but as i don't want my hair to turn
grey i stopped it.
This program generates approx. 1000 Regkeys and Values and writes to nearly
every Windows system folder it finds.
Now i just install the file before cloning. If you don't have small but many
different series, this is the worthier approach in my opinion.
