I am running Windows XP SP2 and have one printer connected to it via the
Ethernet port.
I am trying to find out the NAME of my Printer Server, as I am trying
accomplish this:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314499
My printer name is BROTHER
Where would I look for this information on my system?

[unofficial] The name is two forward slashes followed by the name of the
computer the printer hardware is connected to followed by a single forward
slash followed by the name of the computer.
So if a printer was installed on Mindycomputer and shared using the name
Printalot then the name of the shared printer is:
\\Mindycomputer\Printalot
If go to your Printer and Faxes folder, you can click on "Add a printer"
which starts a wizard. As you go through the steps you will have an
opportunity to browser the network for a printer.
Also note that when the printer is installed you should select the option
allowing it to print from MS-DOS based programs.

When you install the printer and it asks you for a port, select the printer
server. If you don't see a printer server on the list, you need to install
the printer server.
Do you see a printer when you, Start, Settings, Printers and Faxes? If not,
can you install by selecting File, Add Printer?
