Hi,

For some reason when I am clicking at .hlp files (even the ones in the
Windows directory) the Help window comes up (as if it was going to open the
file) and then it asks me to browse to the file... I browse, and then it
opens... I don't know why is asking me to browse to it if I just double
clicked it.

Thanks.

If you open My Computer, click the Tools menu, click Folder Options, click the File Types
tab, select HLP, click the ADVANCED button, click the EDIT button: Does it say:

Action: open
Application used to perform this action: C:\WINDOWS\System32\winhlp32.exe %1
Use DDE has a checkmark
Application: winhlp32
Topic: system
