HI, I AM FROM ISRAEL I CAME TO THIS FORUM BECAUSE NOONE KNOW HOW TO SOLVE
THIS PROBLEM ON MICROSOFT ISRAEL.

MY ENGLISH CAN BE BETTER BUT I WILL TRY TO describe THIS PROBLEM.

I have a windows xp system. I decided to format the disk "c" which is
partition "c".
As I always do when I want to format the "c" disk I put the windows xp setup
disk after restart and it logs automatically to the windows xp installation .
But when I came across the window where I have all the partitions I was
shoked to see that I have only one partition which is all my hard disk
instead of 3.
I got out of the windows xp setup installation and loged to windows xp it
self and as I was expecting I had 3 partitions.

Shortly:

WIndows installation shows me that I have only one partition

Windows Xp it self shows me 3 partitions

*I formated my c drive alredy millions of times and I never seen such a
strange thing.

*I cannot divide the the partition on the setup because I dont want to lose
data on my pc

*I cant back it up (goust) because all the capacity of the dada it around 50GB

*All my hard disk is 80GB

*I have no dvd writer.

*My hard disk is on NTFS

THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!!!

MIKE

How were the partitions created? (What program was used to create the
partition(s)?)

in XP setup what is the size and status of the single "C" partition?.

If you already formatted it millions of times it may be worn out! :-)

I am not sure that I fully understood your post but when it comes to disc
partitioning it doesn't come much easier than Partition Magic
