My computer has developed a problem with explorer - i cant access 'my
computer' to move / delete etc files.

Has anyone any ideas where to go to sort this problem out ?

Ive tried spyware / adware / virus checking etc.

Hi,

More detail is needed.

What happens when you double click it?
How about if you right-click and choose explore?
How about if you hit the Winkey+e?
Can you open other folders?

sorry thought i was being too general.

its my parnets computer so god knows what they've been doing on it.

win-e doesnt do anything. the egg-timer displays then dissappears but
nothing else happens.

just tried double clicking my computer and it works.

i just must be used to my open computer so much that i thought something was
a-miss.

thanks for your input.

Hi Philip,

Check the system for spy/ad programs. These can help:

Adaware www.lavasoft.de
Spybot www.safer-networking.org
