cannot remove windows/setup choice on reboot

Hello,

In the middle of trying to reinstall windows, I decided to not reinstall.
Before the installation began I pressed F3 to cancel. Windows still works
fine, but everytime I reboot, it gives me an option to either enter setup, or
to continue on to windows. If I don't press any buttons, it automatically
goes to setup for windows, I have to press up and enter to choose windows. I
just want it to go strait to windows, because I no longer want to reinstall.
Can anyone help me to correct this problem, so I can boot strait into windows
like normal, instead of having to make a choice?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Go to Start > Run and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter.
Click on the BOOT.INI tab and then click on "Check All Boot Paths"
to delete incorrect boot paths.

If the above does not work for you, then:

Right-click MY COMPUTER and select:

Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery Settings > Edit

CAREFULLY edit your boot.ini file to remove the SECOND entry.
Your boot.ini file should then look similar to this:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect

Open your boot.ini in notepad and delete the unwanted line(the other unwanted windows)
