Hi

After copying the image in Flash, I rebooted the system. It showed all the
file and components are getting registered amd then came to the login
Screen.
- I logged in through Administrator
- After complete login, it showed one msg "Machine resealed, click ok to
reboot"
- Before clicking on "ok" button, i gave "pull" command through wizard
server and then clicked "ok" button .
- after clicking on "ok", machine rebooted but and came to the Login
screen.
- Logging through "Administrator", it gave an error

a.. Windows cannot find "c:\windows\system32\fbreseal.exe". Make sure you
typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click
the start button and then click search
- I put the "fbreseal.exe" manually, then tried to restart the system, and
logged in through Administrator, then it gave a message "SidGen already
pending"
- Clicking on "ok" its giving same msg every time.

can anybody provide me the solution for the same.

Regards
katheryne

It sounds like you're trying to run the fbreseal from a run command? If you
don't delete that it'll run every time the machine boots.

i am not runnign FBReseal from Command promt

FBReseal is getting deleted from C:\windows\systems32 every time. However
"user.bat" file still persists, so the client reboots continuously with
error msg "machine resealed ! click ok to reboot" and Windows cannot find
"c:\windows\system32\fbreseal.exe". Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button and then
click search"

I assume you're aware that you can only run "fbreseal.exe" once, and then it
deletes itself so that it doesn't end up on the final target system (where
someone could use it to make more clones). So the fact that it is getting
deleted is normal after the first time that you run it.

Hi Katheryne. It appears as though you may be running FBReseal from a batch
file, and the batch file is being run automatically from a mechanism such as
the Run section of the Registry, the Startup folder, etc. If this is the
case, the batch file will run every time the system starts, and as Doug
pointed out, fbreseal.exe will delete itself after it has been run once.

If you wish to run fbreseal as part of a configuration script (user.bat)
that runs automatically, I would recommend placing the reference to the
batch file in the RunOnce section of the registry. Try
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce . This will cause
your batch file to run only once (on initial boot), and you should no longer
see the "Cannot find fbreseal.exe" message on subsequent boots.

I hope this helps. =)

Katheryne,

You made this image, right?
Check for two things:
1. Existence of bat file provided by you that mention fbreselar.exe (you can search trough all bat files for this keyword)
2. All mentions of this file in registry. (use regedit)

Please tell us what you find and exact paths that you find for above two cases.

Regards,
Slobodan
