MEMORY STICK

I resently tried my memory stick in my computer and it does not recognize it.
It sees new hardware (cruzer micro) but then goes looking for a driver and
never finds it or the stick. It looked ok several week ago but since then I
have done some spam and virus cleaning.

Open Device Manager. You will see the Cruzer Product with a yellow "!".
Remove the device from Device Manager. Unplug and plug the device.
Windows will detect and install the device.
The driver is not required for Windows XP.

I've done that with the same results. I have noticed that the Cruzer product
shows up under "other devices" and not under the "disk drives" like it does
on other computers. It appears it is seeing it as something else and not as a
removable drive.
