Hi,

To delete an icon from the quicklaunch, you can simply right-click on it and select Delete.

The "quick star menu"? Do you mean the Quick Launch Bar?

If so, just deleting it is fine.

Hi,
Thanks I thought you could do it like that but I wondered if it left some
kind of "registry remnant" if you did it that way.

When you just delete icons does it not leave registry debry that you need to
clean out? Or is this not the case?
Thanks for your help.

No that's just a shortcut on the quicklaunch bar.
