I have an Sony XP box that I'm working on for a friend. I've tried
using the recovery option and that hasn't worked. I can install the
drive in my PC and delete what I THINK might be the problem (spyware,
etc) but what I think is happening, is that a service is trying to
start that is hanging the system up.

It is XP Home with nothing fancy installed and I what I'd like to know
is if someone could list out the services that should be starting on
boot (auto).

Thanks!
