after RAM upgrade to 4GB, the WinXP Pro OS only recognizes 3GB but the BIOS
recognizes all 4GB. the specs for WinXP Pro say that it will support up to
4GB. is
there some other config setting that needs to be manipulated in order to get
the OS to recognize all 4GB ? tia...

i think that i found the prob - apparently there is a PAE switch setting in
the boot.ini file that has a 3GB option for testing purposes.
