I am trying to install MacDrive 6 on XP Pro in order to access an external
harddrive. I have an official serial no but every time I enter it I am told
that it is not valid. I know that it is. I am having a similar issue with
anotehr piece of software on the same machine.

I have not installed SP2 yet and am wondering if installing it will solve
the problem or whether there is another reason.

Please help I really need to access the drive for a major project.

You need to take this issue to support for MacDrive, it's not a Windows
issue.
