You need Microsoft Word, or a compatible word processing program.

Check the prices in your locale but you will probably find that the
least expensive way to acquire Microsoft Word is to purchase Microsoft
Works Suite.

Microsoft Works Suite differs from Microsoft Works in several ways,
but the relevant item here is that it uses Microsoft Word as the word
processing component rather than the Microsoft Works Word Processor.

Good luck

I haven't used Works in a long time. Depending on what version you have, it may include Word.

Or you may be able to "save as" in .doc format.

Works doesn't include Word. Works Suite does include Word and hides the
Works WP.
