IE Favorites Icons

How do I keep IE Favorites icons from reverting to the default icon? Some IE
Favorites icons are specialized, but sometimes if the computer is rebooted
or screen resolution is changed, the icons revert back to the generic IE
Favorites version. What controls this, and how do I keep it from being
reset?

thanks, Kevin

These are known as Favicons. Run the edit on kelly's site, line 108,
"FavOrg - Restore and Save Favorite Icons" at

By default, the special icons for Favorites get stored with your
Temporary Internet Files and are easily lost.To make them permanent:-
