Hi - I'm running xp , sp2 , brand new setup. Memory dump set to
'small', not using fast user switching.
Regardless of the size I set as part of custom (I'm going for 768M)
settings, it always allocates 1.5gig.
Any idea why that would be?
Cheers,
Steve.

What is the drive configuration, are they PATA or SATA, where are you
trying to put the pagefile, and do you have any Norton products installed?

Hi Steve,
Do not forget to click the 'set' button after changing the size. Most people overlook that.

Hi, it's sata, the only hd in the box and it's a fresh install, so
there's nothing else to conflict with it. SP2.
Cheers,
Steve
