MSN Messanger question.

I recently lost my old hard drive due to complications with the boot records.
ntldr missing and whatnot. So I figured it was time to just go out and get
the new xp pro with sp2 already installed and I installed it. I have a
hotmail account that I use and I use it with msn messanger, only because it
tells me when I have new email. however. after installing this new version of
windows, it no longer tells me if I have new email in my hotmail mailbox...
is there any way to correct this? if not, I think that's more of a downgrade
than an upgrade...
Thanks
-Luke

I think you're confusing MSN Messenger with Windows Messenger, Lucas. Only
the latter installs with WinXP.
