file handles not closing after files are gone

I'm moving lots of files between active accounts and storage on xp pro at
work and xp home at home, both with sp2 and both are version 2002, both are
on pentium 4 computers running 2.8Ghtz, both have 1Gig ram, at work is dell,
home is hp. Both run very well, but I am sick of using task manager to "end"
explorer the restart the task, or use "process explorer" to close handles
that are stuck open after all the files have been moved to storage so I can
delete the folder they were in. Process explorer is kind of neat because you
can watch new handles being opened for each file moved. You can also watch
the handles just sit there, they never close. Win2000 didn't have this
problem. Does anyone know whether MS is working on a solution? or does
anyone have a solution of there own. Besides the 2 methods above, I also
tried the Diamond ASM or whatever that claims to close handles but its not
even close. I should mention that this is associated with the "file or
folder still in use" error message. Thanks.
