main pagefile on 2nd drive - small one on C: ?

Hello,
I've got my pagefiles setup like this:
http://home.comcast.net/~davetest/pagefiles.JPG

As can be seen, I've got a small one defined for C:
and "system managed" size for drive I:

The curious thing is, when I do a harddrive search for
pagefile.sys only the i: drive is found:
http://home.comcast.net/~davetest/ar.JPG

Doesn't XP advise a minimum pagefile on
C: even if there's a main one elsewhere? I understand
XP uses it if it crashes. But in my case, the pagefile
on C: doesn't exist, even though it's specified.

What does XP do if it crashes? create the pagefile,
then make the dump? Something doesn't seem right.

XP often times won't create that small on on C: until it's needed, but
will complain if you don't define it. What you are seeing is normal.

I suspected so.. I'm not having problems per se.
But I downloaded the trial of Raxco's perfectdisk build 40 and
that seems to be having problems with this scenario.
The pagefile is defined... but it doesn't exist.
I'll update this again when I hear from Raxco.
