I want to change the domain name and the user name of all our windows xp
desktops retaning the exsisting user profile.
I want the existing user desktop items, favorities,pst etc... to the new
user profile.

Is there a easy way to accomplish this?

If you just want to copy the contents of a users profile have a play with the
files and settings transfer wizard or the USMT. FAST is ok for a small amount
of users but if you are talking a large amount of pc's then try scripting the
USMT to do what you need.
