Hope someone can help me. In my documents i have added several folders and
placed files in these folders but after about 10 files it says it is full and
will not let me save any more files to that folder. How can I change the size
of these folders so that i may put unlimited files in.

Tell us about these files.
What kind of files?
Size of these files?
Any unusual attributes of the files?

Use Windows Explorer to view file sizes etc. How large is your hard disk
and how free space on that hard disk.

How about housekeeping?

Regular and effective housekeeping is essential. What you do and how
often you do it will depend
on how you use your computer. A suggested routine may include:

1. In Outlook Express empty your Deleted Items folder.
2. In Outlook Express run File, Folder, Compact All whilst OFFLINE.
3. Run Disk Cleanup. Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk
Cleanup with
Temporary Internet Files, Offline Web Pages (optional), System Restore
( more Options tab )
and Recycle Bin selected for deletion. If you have more than one drive /
partition you may
need to do this operation for each drive / partition.
4. Remove Cookies. Start, Control Panel, Internet Options, General,
Delete Cookies.
5. Run Disk Defragmenter.

Check whether you could reduce the number of days the History of sites
visited is retained. Start,
Control Panel, Internet Options, General, History.

Check how much free space you have on the hard drive / partition where
your pagefile is located.
You need a minimum of 15% but 20% or more is better.

Hope this helps.

The computer is new and has 160gb with 130gb free space. i regularly run housekeeping as i used to be a systems admin. The error message reads:- " the disk you were saving to or the disk used for temp files is full. Free some space on disk and try again or save to a different disk" i opened a new folder with no files and tried to save to this but the same message appears. Hope this info helps
