Would anyone be willing to give me a script or GPO I can use to turn a
users Quick Launch Bar on by default the first time they log into the
system? Bonus points if you can show me how to script a specific width
(7 icons wide).

Thanks

You talk about quick launch. Then you mess it up by saying you want it 7
icons wide. Quick Launch doesn't do that. You are referring to the
notification area perhaps (lower right hand corner)?

State your question again - clearly!
