Backup your data.. email, pictures, documents, etc..

Set your BIOS to allow for booting from CDROM first..
Put in your Windows XP CD..
Boot from Windows XP..
Use the partitioning part of the install to delete the first partition,
recreate it and finish the install...

If you wish to keep your D drive as Fat32, you can do so.
The installation process works one partition at a time.
In fact, if you want to get rid of your D drive, and combine it with C, that
is also an option, but not by default.
Back up your files, and after verifying that the backups worked, load the XP
CD into your CD-ROM and follow the prompts.

Yes i want to keep my Drive D as Fat32, all i want to reformat is my Drive C
(NTFS), can you give me a step-by-step instruction? last week i've tried to
reformat my drive c but to my dismay drive d was the one deleted, since it's
NTFS... I only have 1 disk drive so i want to copy that to my drive d...
