I had the same problem, and finally got the solution, which is strange,
but easy!

Try signing in to hotmail by using all lower-case characters in your
e-mail address (typre your password the way you usually do, though.)
That may work. If not, try downloading the latest version of internet
explorer.

You need to quote the thread you're replying to or keep it in the same
thread. As is, there is no way of knowing to whom or about what you are
replying.
