I HAVE AN XP HP PAVILLION ZE4800 WHICH I ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD TO BE 2.0 USB
CONNECTION BUT WHEN I CONNECT A DVD REWRITER IT COMES UP THAT MY USB IS ONLY
A 1.0 WHAT CAN I DO ???

From what i have read is your computers USB ports are USB 1.0. in order to
get USB 2.0 you need to buy a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card and that should fix your
problem

Just so you know, posting to newsgroups in caps is considered rude by many
because it appears that you are shouting. It is also much more difficult to

I do apologise, I am new to newsgroups, I had caps lock on as I am partially
sighted, and can read caps more easily.

Ann, you can help yourself and your readers if you establish your Outlook Express as your Newsreader. With Outlook Express, you can opt to send messages in HTML, which allows you to adjust the font to, say, Arial 18 pt. Bold. Then, you do not have to use caps.
