I am using WinXP Home, with SP2. I have USB 1 hardware in my computer and
several USB 2 sticks. Everytime I connect one of these sticks, I get a
bubble message (normally twice) from the tool bar telling me the device
could run faster on a USB 2 controller.

Any way I can get rid of this pop-up?

Thank You!

Click on the little "x" in the upper right hand corner of the pop up. Or,
ignore it and it will go away by itself. Or, get anal and spend a lot of
time in the registry and risk the chance of messing up your computer.

Another possiblity is to buy a USB 2 controller for your PC. You can always
add a PCI controller (desktop/tower PCs) or a PC CARD/PCMCIA for laptops.
