change system icons?

Hello,

Is there a way to change my system icons (.ico) like my computer, folders
etc???

There are many programs (even freeware) that will do this easily. You can
also do it manually if you wish. Do a google search for icon editors. Should
give you some programs and some info.

Sure. The desktop icons can easily be changed from the desktop properties.
Just right click the desktop and choose properties. On the desktop tab,
click on "customize desktop". From there you can click on the icon and
change it. The system defaults are scattered, but you will find many in
shell32.dll.

Others, like folders, can be changed from the file types tab of folder
options in the control panel.
