IN WINXP Home Edtion, when I click (left) the start button, I see a
listing of files, one of which is documents.

where in Windows Explore can I find those documents so I can delete quicker.

Hi,

The Documents folder is just a mirror for your user profiles' folder here:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\Documents

It would not matter which one you manipulated the files in, the effect would
be the same in both.

Hi,
That's at C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Recent Documents. My Recent
Documents may be a hidden folder. If you don't see it go to Control Panel>
Folder Options> View> Check "Show hidden files and folders." Then right
click My Recent Documents, click Properties and uncheck the "hidden"
attribute.

Hope this helps,
Don
