lost data on window logon profile!!!!

my pc started with an error message and inform my my registry is corrected.
But my logon to a blank setting. So I copy and paste the data to from my
documents setting to the current "my documents" Problem is after I turn it
back on again, the old setting kick back in but the data I just cut and paste
all disappear!!! Could someone help me to relocate the file on my pc. is it
hidden somewhere?

Read the message more carefully when this happens. When there is a problem
loading a user's portion of the registry, Windows creates a *temporary*
account to complete logon.

You could try to salvage the account giving you trouble using the user
profile cleanup tool -or- create a new account for yourself and
copy/transfer your data to the new account. Once you're sure the data has
arrived safely, delete the old account.
