See if you can navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories
Where C is your main boot drive.
Do you see Wordpad?
If not, can you do a search for Wordpad.exe?
If you find it, right-click and Send (to desktop).
Otherwise, let us know. It may need to be reinstalled.

It is easy. See this page:
"WordPad has uninstalled"
http://www.computing.net/windows95/wwwboard/forum/164785.html
(and check your Recycle Bin)

Sorry, that was for Win 98.
Does this work for your system?
"If you're using WinXP, Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add Remove Windows
Components (on the left). Click Accessories and Utilities to select it,
click Details button. Click Accessories again, click Details button. Then
find the entry for Wordpad and do the same as above to reinstall it."

if not, try this, from Ramesh:
"Extract the wordpad.exe from Windows XP CD. Then run SFC /SCANNOW from CD.
Click Start | Run | type "SFC /Scannow"" (without any quotes)

And finally, you can uncheck "Accessories and Utilities" in Add/remove
Windows Components, go through the Wizard, and then recheck Accessories and
Utilities and go through the Wizard again. You need a full XP disk for this.
