I am trying to decide whether to install a RSS feed program on my computer,
a Dell Dimension 8200 with windows XP Pro (SP2) and all current MS security
updates. At the MS TechNet web Site on this same subject, they listed five
RSS programs that they had tested and are listed below.

RssReader, SharpReader, FeedReader, AmphetaDesk, NewsGator, and RS
Bandit.

I would very much appreciate any comments/suggestions about using the RSS
feed feature and which RSS feed programs that works well with windows XP
Pro. Thanks, Sam.

Sam I recommend RSSREADER v. 1.0.88.0. There are additional beta versions,
however this version works and works well with WindowsXP.

You could go to the Auhma.org site and look in the freeware section for
Maxthon which is an overlay of IE and gives a lot more function to IE plus
has a built in RSS feeder. I use it and it is very good.
