Could someone please read this and get back to me!
I have recently downloaded some windows updates and now whenever i connect
to the internet, a blue think search bar with the same apearance of XP has
appeared and i cant get rid of it. There is close button but it doesnt close.
Even when i disconnect it still stays there. Thanx Dom

So Don, did you go to the webpage for Windows Update and run updates there?
If so, there should be no blue search bar on your computer. If on the other
hand you responded to an email that claimed to be Windows Update and clicked
on it, then you have spyware installed, and probably a back door trojan and
a virus also. Repeat after me, MS doesn't do updates by email....

"Repeat after me, MS doesn't do updates by email"

You know, I don't know how many times and how many places that is
posted all over the net, on every tech program and in each and every
computing magazine, people will continue to blindly download and
install fake M$ email updates. Same goes for allowing unsigned scripts
to run on their systems and blindly hitting "continue" or "yes" or
"Download" on every stupid popup that accompanies a website not to
mention opening all those attachments that come with all that spam they
seemed to have gotten themselves on every low life's list for. I
mean..... Well, what's the use....
