I am an admin yet when I go onto one users machine and go into add\remove
programs to uninstall a program the uninstall button is not there and going
down the list the button shows for some but not for others. It is a program
that can be uninstalled as I've done it with others and on this particular
one the the program is there and I can use it its just I can't get rid of
it.

Any ideas whay the button is not showing?

Have a look in the start menu for an "uninstall" link
Start > All Programs > (relevant program group)

I've done that and there is no uninstall associated with this program under
the start menu.

Have a look in the registry at these 2 locations (with a subkey for your
particular program group) and see if there is an entry for
"UninstallString". If so run that command at the command line.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Failing that, look in the relevant folder in "C:\Program Files" for an
uninstall program

Can you reboot into Safe Mode and log in as Administrator? Does that
resolve the issue?
