My Windows has stopped reading my .exe files. I get the error that they are
not valid win32 applications. I was poking around in the admin services to
shut a few things off that were bogging down my computer, and possibly shut
off something I need. I haven't a clue what to do!! Someone help, please!

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Try turning your services back on ... maybe the ones you shut off.
If that doesn't work, turn on all of them. Once you're back up and
running, you can start whittling the suckers down again.

You were asking for this as it appears that you didn't know what you were
doing the first time!
