right click my computer
select properties
click the hardware tab
click the device manager button
find the video card
right click it
select properties
click the driver tab
click rollback driver
follow any onscreen instructions
you should now have the old driver back

In addition to the other advice don't update drivers from the windows
update site. If needed get it from the device manufacturer's web site
or from the maker of the computer if it's a large OEM like Dell,
Gateway, etc. And device drivers should only be updated if there is a
problem with the current one or the new one has a feature that you must
have. Don't update drivers just to have the most recent.

Turn off automatic updates to avoid this happening in the future. Do a
manual scan for updates by going to the WU site. Then review each
offered update to see if you really need it or want it and don't accept
any hardware driver updates.
