Most likely your PATH statement is out of whack. Right click My Computer and select Properties. Go to the Advanced tab. Click Environment Variables. In the System Variables section highligt PATH and click Edit. You'll probably need to copy and paste the current path into Notepad, as it won't all display. It will make it easier to read anyway. My PATH statement looks like this:

%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem

This is fairly typical. If your's contains a reference to C:\documents and Setings\matty

you can either remove it, or move it to the end of the statement. The semi-colons are what divide the various parts of the PATH statement.

If in doubt, post your current PATH statement back.
