Does a Retail XP Home CD include
MS System Works??
(word processor, spreadsheet etc)
I realize this is not the same as MS OFFICE,
but does XP include the System Works or is
this a separate item to be bought?

Hi

It is a separate program. XP doesn't include a Word Processor, Spreadsheet
etc. You need to purchase them individually or as part of a Suite.

Hi,

No, it's a separate product.

Actually, you don't have to purchase office software. You can download a
very good Free Open Source office suite here:

There is no program called MS System works.

If you are talking about MS Office suite then you have to buy it
separetely as it's not included with Win XP.

You can use Open Office which is free.

Yes that is correct I stand corrected of my
ignorance, it is in fact Microsoft Works and
thanks to the replies I realize that XP does
not include these.
