Media Center is a superset of XP Pro. There is no "upgrade" path to MCE, it
means a clean installation.

It will do everything that Pro will do, except join a domain after the
initial installation. If you join the domain during install, then you're
fine, but after the install has been completed, joining a domain is
disabled.
