When I installed the Microsoft XP, the microsoft word doesn't work, it asks
me for the 25 certificate of authenticity number but it says it's wrong every
time and it is the right one because i used it for getting my computer
registered. How can I get it to work? I need it really bad.
Thanks

You are using the Windows XP operating system PK 25 place
number, you need to use the PK that came with WORD.

BTW, did you also get a MS WORD CD (or OFFICE, perhaps MS
WORKS Suite). Windows XP does not include WORD.

Contact the company from whom you bought the computer or go to the store
and buy MS Office if you want it.

He already said he didn't get a Word CD - that probably means he
didn't get an Office CD either, but that's not a given.

I recommend that you either buy a copy of Word, or else try a free, high
quality alternative, Open Office.

Neither Word nor any other Office application normally comes with the
XP operating system. They have to be purchased separately. Some
manufacturers bundle extra programs with your hardware and OS
purchase, if you believe you should have received a program that you
don't have, you'll have to take that up with whoever sold you the
bundle.

Otherwise, you'll have to buy one or more parts of MS Office. You
might also go to www.openoffice.org and check out Open Office, a free,
open-source office suite. It may very well fill your needs and save
you a pile of money.
