I want to figure out what a certain message says, but I don't know the name
of the font. It consists of symbols.,e.g.: mailboxes, arrows, clocks, bells,
hourglass, microsoft window, stars, bullseyes, open books, checkmarks, blah
blah blah...does anyone know the name of this font and how I could figure out
what it says?

Sounds like WingDings Font.

Start>Run "charmap.exe".

You can check the equivalent font ascii code number in a readable font.

Or copy the message to Wordpad and change the font to something readable.
