Back up all your data now. Download a drive diagnostic utility from the
disk drive manufacturer's web site. This will create a bootable floppy.
Run the diagnostics from there, but it looks like you're in for a new
hard drive.

1) This is a Windows group, not a hardware group.

2) May I suggest that you continue attending those remedial English
classes (if you're actually attending and not hanging around the shopping
centre with your, equally illiterate, friends). When I was 16, I knew how to
spell and properly punctuate a sentence. I could also understand a sentence
written in plain English. What part of "hard drive detects imminent failure"
are you having problems with, exactly?

3) If you are having problems with any word in the aforementioned error,
may I suggest you avail yourself of a dictionary (that's a big book
containing the meanings of words - you may have to ask Daddy if you don't
understand...).

4) http://www.chambersharrap.co.uk/chambers/chref/chref.py/main

5) If your English /is/ impeccable, you may wish to avail yourself of a
new keyboard - yours must be broken.

It means your hard disk drive is having horrible problems and is about
to die. It will have to be replaced. If you don't know how to do it
yourself, take it to a shop. The only thing you should do with your
machine before replacing the disk is backup data you don't want to
lose.
